1️⃣ What is Voice?
Voice shows whether the subject performs the action (Active) or receives the action (Passive).
✅ Active Voice
The subject does the action.
Structure: Subject + Verb + Object
Example: Ram writes a letter.
✅ Passive Voice
The subject receives the action.
Structure: Object + be verb + V³ (past participle) + (by + subject)
Example: A letter is written by Ram.
2️⃣ Conversion Rules
Rule 1: Object becomes Subject
Active: She writes a poem. → Passive: A poem is written by her.
Rule 2: Use Correct Form of “Be”

3️⃣ Pronouns & Agents
Rule 3: Change Pronouns Properly

Rule 4: “By + Agent” is Optional
We use by + doer only if necessary.
Example: The thief was arrested.
4️⃣ Imperatives & Examples
Rule 5: Imperative Sentences
Use: Let + object + be + V³
Active: Open the door. → Passive: Let the door be opened.
Mixed Practice:
- Modal: He can solve it → It can be solved by him.
- Future: We will win → The match will be won by us.
